Southern Pines Energy Center is located near the Gulf Coast natural gas supply area which is the largest and most liquid natural gas market in the U.S. Specifically, Southern Pines is located approximately 60 miles north of Pascagoula, Mississippi and 30 miles east of Hattiesburg, Mississippi in Greene County. The Project occupies approximately 14-acres of an 80-acre site that is located above a domal salt structure known as Byrd Salt Dome. The Project is situated near seven major natural gas pipeline systems which provide access to a wide range of natural gas supplies and downstream markets.
